“Celebrating Achievements, Embracing the Future: Building a Stronger Tomorrow Together”

In 2023, AFRIDA’s Executive Committee (EXCOM) introduced an end-of-year dinner as a way for the association to close the year with celebration, networking, fundraising, and strengthening bonds among its members, among other objectives. The inaugural AFRIDA dinner took place on December 28, 2023, at Movic Hotel in Mpondwe-Lhubiriha Town Council. Following its success, EXCOM has adopted the event as an annual tradition. This year, AFRIDA will be hosting its second annual dinner in December.

Objectives of the dinner

  • To reflect on and celebrate the achievements and milestones of the association throughout the year 2024.
  • To provide an opportunity for the association members, other partners, to connect/network, exchange ideas, and strengthen relationships.
  • Acknowledge and appreciate outstanding contributions.
  • To raise funds that support the association’s ongoing projects and initiatives.
  • To review the year’s progress, appreciate and lay the groundwork for future activities and goals.
